Take some time to relax, and wind down with coloring! Turn on your favorite podcast and let your hand do the rest. It’s easy to enter a creative flow when your thoughts are turned off, and that happens easily when you are listening to something interesting. It stops you from engaging your critical mind and allows you to play freely with colors.

I took a turn myself last weekend, I wanted to test what it’s like to color the illustrations I have created. So soothing…. especially painting the background with various blues in watercolor. You can paint with watercolor on this calendar because it’s printed on thick, strong paper.

My coloring calendar for 2019, published in Germany, has 12 full-page illustrations and each month is decorated with creative, illustrated lettering. The [2017 version was a best seller in Norway](https://cecilieo.com/blog/coloring%5Fcalendar%5Fpublished%5Fin%5Fnorway). Color your year!
