Quotes on Meditation & Spirituality to Find the Secret of Calm

If you want to do something practical to make your life peaceful, daily meditation is your best option. Take time to sit in silence for a few minutes every day and focus on love, gratitude or compassion. There are many different types of meditation practices. Regardless of your choice, it will create a significant, positive change in your life. 

The background photos for the quotes below are my shots (except for the star photo). A Samsung Galaxy phone can do a pretty good job for amateurs like me. Looking for beautiful details in plants brings on a state of joyful mindfulness. In fact, taking close-ups of plants is my favorite hobby. It’s easy to do when you carry your phone anyway. 

I took these photos in a park in Tokyo called Heiwanomori. The name means Forest of Peace. It was early morning after the rain and a sunny afternoon.  The light made everything beautiful.
